The film revolves around the lives of three aspiring artists - Kang Dong-Goo, Cheon Joon-Ki, and Bong-Doo-Sik - all hailing from humble backgrounds and harboring big dreams in their respective fields: film directing for Dong-Goo, acting for Joon-Ki, and scenario writing for Bong-Doo-Sik. However, the cold reality of life in Seoul has not been kind to them as they grapple with bad luck, financial struggles, and the ever-present shadow of their unattained goals. Their stories are intertwined as each one attempts to navigate the harsh terrain of a city that is both captivating and unforgiving for young artists striving for success in their chosen fields.
