The King’s Avatar

The movie centers around Ye Xiu, a prolific esports player who has led his team to victory in the highly competitive Chinese leagues of "Glory," a popular multiplayer game. However, when he disagrees with his team's decision to accept a sponsorship deal and is subsequently ousted from the team, Ye Xiu finds himself at a crossroads. Taking up a job at an Internet cafe, he befriends Chen Guo, the owner of the establishment who has ambitious plans for a new "Glory" team led by him.As they work together at the cafe and form a strong bond, Chen Guo unveils her master plan: to create a fresh "Glory" team under Ye Xiu's leadership. The narrative then follows Ye Xiu's journey as he attempts to reclaim his place in the world of competitive gaming and assembles a group of talented players who share his passion for "Glory." Concurrently, we witness his quest for vengeance against those former teammates who betrayed him, while navigating the challenges of team dynamics, training, and fierce national competition.
