In an enigmatic future world ravaged by six meteor impacts, unique crystalline beings known as Gems carry out their roles in a relentless battle against the destructive Lunarians. Each Gem's purpose is specifically assigned based on their strengths and weaknesses. Among these extraordinary beings is Phosphophyllite, or Phos for short - a young and tender-hearted Gem who yearns to contribute more significantly to their world's fight for survival.Despite Phos's aspirations, they are instead tasked with compiling an encyclopedia due to their frail condition. Despite this setback, Phos continues to explore ways in which they can make a difference. In their journey, Phos crosses paths with Cinnabar, another Gem whose exceptional intelligence has led them to be relegated to the monotonous task of patrolling an isolated island at night due to their corrosive, poisonous body.Moved by Cinnabar's dissatisfaction, Phos embarks on a mission to find a purpose that would not only suit both of them but also bring them true contentment. Can Phos's seemingly trivial assignment lead these two outcast Gems towards the fulfilling roles they deserve in their war-torn world?
