Given two seemingly absurd options - a dishonorable death or undergoing sex reassignment surgery to become "female" idols in Thailand - the trio reluctantly opts for the latter, hoping it might provide a reprieve from their deadly profession.Over the course of a grueling year, they transform themselves into glamorous idols, training diligently under the watchful eye of an eccentric and demanding manager. Despite their initial misgivings about their newfound roles, their music group quickly garners immense popularity, thrusting them into the bright lights of fame and adulation they never sought nor anticipated.However, this new lease on life proves to be more of a curse than a blessing. The trio must grapple with their shifting identities, their fractured relationships with family and former comrades, and the ever-present danger from their yakuza past that refuses to stay buried.
