Johannes, an emotionally fragile and ambitious teenager, hopes that attending a prestigious school in Tallinn will provide him with new opportunities and a fresh start. However, rather than finding the support he craves, Johannes falls victim to relentless mental abuse from his classmates. Desperate for validation, Johannes turns to his old friends in the rough neighborhood of Lasnamäe, who are more interested in partying, drugs, and avoiding academic responsibilities.
