In this engaging crime thriller, the lively nightclub performer Buzzy Bellew unexpectedly finds himself witnessing a gangland murder committed by notorious criminal Ten Grand Jackson. Fearing for his own safety, Buzzy is brutally killed by two of Jackson's henchmen who dispose of his body in Brooklyn's Prospect Park lake. However, Buzzy's spirit doesn't rest easy as he returns to the world of the living as a ghost and seeks out the help of his intellectual twin brother, Edwin Dingle.
