Violent Summer

Amidst the turbulent backdrop of World War II in the summer of 1943, Riccione, Rimini serves as an unlikely sanctuary for the wealthy young who seek momentary solace from the ever-approaching conflict. In this seemingly carefree world, Carlo Caremoli, a youth following the crowd and adept at avoiding military duties, crosses paths with Roberta, a resilient war widow who tenderly raises her child. Despite warnings from Roberta's mother about the dangers of pursuing a romance with the free-spirited Carlo, their connection grows deeper and stronger.
