Under the Same Moon

The film intertwines the narratives of two resilient individuals: nine-year-old Carlitos and his hardworking mother, Rosario. In an attempt to offer a brighter future for her son, Rosario undertakes arduous labor in the United States illegally while her own mother selflessly takes charge of caring for young Carlitos across the border in Mexico.
