The Whiskey Bandit

In the heart of Budapest, a cunning and enigmatic figure known only as the 'Whiskey Bandit' embarked on an extraordinary crime spree between 1993 and 1999, robbing 29 financial institutions with ease and leaving behind only a lingering scent of whiskey. The city was captivated by this elusive thief who managed to evade capture for six years while never causing physical harm to anyone. Amidst the media frenzy, Attila Ambrus - an accomplished Transylvanian immigrant and goalie for one of Budapest's largest hockey teams - found himself mistakenly identified as the Whiskey Bandit. Yet, this was merely the beginning of a thrilling game of cat and mouse between Attila and the police, as the true identity of the infamous bandit remained elusive, twisting and turning through the shadowy streets of Budapest.
