The Promise

In 1997, two friends, Ib and Boum, find themselves at a dark crossroads in their lives and decide to take the drastic step of committing suicide together in Bangkok. However, upon second thoughts, they both back out from their deadly pact, leaving a legacy of guilt behind them. Fast forward 20 years later - unbeknownst to Boum, her past actions have stirred up some vengeful spirits. The ghost of Ib returns seeking retribution for the broken promise, terrorizing not only Boum but also her teenage daughter, Bell. The once vibrant and bustling city of Bangkok now houses a chilling presence as Boum and Bell must confront the consequences of Ib's vengeful spirit in order to find peace and closure.
