In this captivating coming-of-age adventure set in the idyllic landscape of Crete, young English girl Nikky and her aunt find themselves entwined in an unexpected mystery upon their arrival at the Moon-Spinners hotel. The initial frosty reception from the hotel owner pales in comparison to the brusque demeanor of her brother Stratos, a recently returned Londoner who harbors a secretive side. Nikky's experience takes an intriguing turn when she befriends an amiable English lad named Mark, only for their budding friendship to be threatened by a late-night attack orchestrated by Stratos and his accomplice. In need of help and with the mysterious Greeks now targeting her, Nikky's courage and resourcefulness are put to the test as she navigates this unfamiliar world in search of answers, trust, and perhaps, love.
