The Hour of the Pig

In medieval France, Richard Courtois, a young lawyer from Paris in search of a calmer lifestyle, finds himself entangled in a web of love affairs and political machinations as he settles into his new rural surroundings. His life takes an unexpected turn when he is approached by the enigmatic gypsy Samira to defend her pig, which has been accused of murdering a local boy. Amidst the backdrop of medieval French society, Courtois navigates through complex relationships, personal convictions, and legal battles, all while questioning the societal norms that dictate innocence and guilt.
