Nestled amidst the mountainous landscape, the Katakuri family's new guest house seems like an idyllic retreat from the world. However, their peaceful haven soon descends into a macabre ordeal as they unwittingly become entangled in a series of bizarre and tragic events. Their first guest's sudden suicide leaves them rattled, but they are determined to maintain discretion. Burying the body in their backyard appears to be an adequate solution at the time. Yet, unbeknownst to them, their mounting troubles have only begun. A renowned sumo wrestler becomes their next guest and finds himself entangled in a scandalous liaison with an underage lover, leading to his untimely death. The limited space behind the house for burials now becomes a pressing issue, forcing the family to confront the unsettling consequences of their actions.
