The Guns of Fort Petticoat

Lt. Frank Hewitt struggles with a moral dilemma when he disagrees with his superior's decision to ruthlessly annihilate a group of innocent Native Americans. Choosing to defy orders, he abandons his post and returns to Texas in an attempt to prevent the inevitable chain reaction that will ensue: a war path for all tribes involved. Arriving home, however, he faces adversity as a Union officer among Confederates – viewed by local women as a betrayer of their cause. Undeterred, Hewitt works to persuade them of the imminent danger they face and prepares them to defend against the brutal attack that awaits, bridging the gap between opposing forces in a heart-rending tale of unity and courage.
