The Guardians

In this thrilling tale of survival, a teenage girl named Nina becomes the sole witness to a horrendous crime. With her life hanging by a thread, she struggles alone, being an orphan and having no one she can trust. To ensure her safety, a determined witness protection officer, Max, who has a history in special-forces, is assigned to protect her from the ruthless Thomas Backer, a corrupt businessman hellbent on silencing Nina forever. As they go into hiding, Nina and Max initially struggle to connect but eventually find common ground during their harrowing escape. Their journey takes an unexpected turn when Max's former comrade, Rudi, intervenes to rescue them from dire situations. Moreover, Max's ex-girlfriend Sara, a federal prosecutor, also plays her part in assisting the duo. Despite their best efforts, Nina and Max find themselves increasingly threatened, with both needing a guardian angel to guide them through the perilous labyrinth of danger they now face together.
