The Girl with the Needle

In the tumultuous aftermath of World War I, a young and expectant mother in Copenhagen finds herself without a job and unsure of her future. She encounters an enigmatic older woman who runs an underground adoption agency, and agrees to assist her in order to secure some stability. As they work together, the two forge an unlikely connection that transcends their differences. However, when an unexpected secret is unveiled, it threatens the fragile bond between them and forces both women to confront the painful complexities of love, loss, and sacrifice in a world grappling with its own scars.
