Alphonse Brown, harboring a strong belief in his lineage as the bastard son of legendary musician James Brown, is reunited with his childhood friend Scotch upon release from prison. With their sights set on Paris for an attempt at a career in music, destiny takes a sharp turn when they inadvertently cross paths with an unusually potent strain of marijuana during a chance encounter. It turns out this particular weed was once experimented upon and engineered by the Nazis.Seizing the opportunity to profit from their find, Alphonse and Scotch begin selling the drug.
