The Door into Summer

In the year 2025, Dr. Edward Hayes, an innovative roboticist, is suddenly awakened from decades-long cryogenic sleep. His journey began when he voluntarily placed himself into suspended animation in the hope of finding a cure for his adopted sister's terminal illness, which remained untreatable in 1995. Now, with newfound knowledge and technological advancements at his fingertips, Edward is determined to go back in time and alter the past to save her life. However, traversing through the future to revisit the past proves challenging as he encounters unfamiliar social, political, and technological landscapes. As Edward navigates this brave new world, he must also confront his own humanity and question the consequences of tampering with the delicate fabric of time itself. The film explores themes of sacrifice, love, and the moral dilemmas that come with pushing the boundaries of scientific progress.
