Sui Dhaaga – Made in India

In a small village nestled close to Delhi resides Mauji, an unassuming man who lives with his loving wife Mamta, father, and mother. He works at a shop owned by the rather unpleasant Bansal and his son Prashant, where the two frequently mistreat him and force Mauji into ridiculous antics for their amusement. When the day finally arrives for Prashant's wedding, Mauji and his entire family are invited to attend the festivities, a gesture that seems like an opportunity to change their dynamics with the Bansals. However, Mamta finds herself stung by humiliation when she watches Mauji being made a mockery of by the Bansal duo in front of all the wedding guests. The story unfolds as Mauji grapples with his dignity and self-worth amidst adversity, showcasing themes of social hierarchy and human endurance.
