Scene of the Crime

In a small forest community, an innocent 13-year-old finds himself tangled in a web of crime and deception over the course of four tumultuous days. Unwittingly drawn into a convict's dangerous scheme, the boy must navigate through a series of chaotic events that intertwine with the lives of his fractured family and their acquaintances.As the boy prepares for his first communion, his separated parents are forced to confront each other amidst the meddling of his overly optimistic grandmother, who harbors hopes of reuniting them. Meanwhile, his grandfather simply yearns to enjoy a day of peaceful fishing. The school's chaplain, meanwhile, chastises the boy for his perceived misbehavior.In this chaotic backdrop, a murder committed by one of the escapees leads to an unexpected alliance with their shared girlfriend, who arrives armed and determined to help them flee to Tangier. As the story unfolds, the boy's mother makes surprising decisions that bring these interconnected lives to an unpredictable conclusion.
