John Brant finds himself behind bars for a crime he didn't commit, sentenced to a life of confinement and injustice. Escaping prison, he seeks refuge in the wild west, hoping to start afresh. There, he manages to evade capture by local lawmen and unexpectedly joins an outlaw gang.
