Rambo III

Rambo, a Vietnam War veteran struggling to find solace after years of violence and bloodshed, has finally found some peace in a remote Thai monastery. Living a humble life as he distances himself from his past, the quietude is disrupted when his long-time friend and mentor, Colonel Samuel Trautman, approaches him with a delicate mission request in war-torn Afghanistan. Despite Rambo's initial reluctance to return to the battleground, his allegiance to his former superior is tested when Trautman falls captive into enemy hands. Faced with the responsibility of rescuing his friend and the weight of his own haunted past, Rambo must confront the demons he thought he left behind in an unforgiving landscape that will challenge him like never before.
