Praxis Dr. Hasenbein

In a quaint pre-World War II town, Dr. Hasenbein lives with his son Peter and shares their peaceful life with the local community, which includes Aunt Uschi's orphanage that shelters numerous children and an affectionate hamster. When the hamster's health starts to decline, Dr. Hasenbein is given a purposeful task that highlights his expertise as a veterinarian. Additionally, he treats Mr. Voss, a local tailor, for his tendinitis. As the war engulfs the world around them, Dr. Hasenbein is compelled to leave for an unknown destination.Thirty years later, Dr. Hasenbein returns to the town he once called home. To his surprise, everything appears unrecognizable; the orphanage has evolved, the children have grown into adults, and the hamster has long since departed. As he reconnects with the people he left behind, Dr. Hasenbein realizes that time marches on, leaving both scars and memories in its wake.
