This stylish film chronicles an exceptional performance by progressive rock band Pink Floyd in 1971. The concert, held at the ancient Roman Amphitheater within the ruins of Pompeii, Italy, stands out for its unique setting: a captivating stage devoid of a live audience. Over the years, the film has been released in four distinct editions. The initial 1972 release offered an uninterrupted concert experience spanning 60 minutes. In 1974, a theatrical version followed, further enriching the viewing experience through interviews and behind-the-scenes footage of Pink Floyd working on their next album, Dark Side of the Moon. Fast forward to 2003, the Director's Cut added visual enhancements with CGI effects to the 1974 version.
