Operation Dumbo Drop

Five Green Berets are tasked with a peculiar assignment during the Vietnam War in 1968: they must covertly transport an enormous 8,000-pound elephant across 200 miles of unforgiving jungle terrain. Captain Sam Cahill makes a promise to the Montagnard villagers of Dak Nhe that he'll replace their cherished elephant by a specific date, essential for an important ceremony in their culture. However, this unusual mission brings more challenges than expected for Captain T.C. Doyle, who finds himself dealing with a formidable logistical hurdle - moving not just any animal, but an elephant of considerable size. The journey tests the soldiers' resourcefulness and camaraderie as they navigate through the rough jungle landscape while ensuring the well-being of their massive cargo and fulfilling their promise to the villagers.
