Night and Day

The film tells the story of Cole Porter, a budding songwriter whose first stage show falls short of expectations. When he is called upon to serve in WWI, his journey takes an unexpected turn as he suffers an injury that sends him to a hospital. It's here that he captures the heart of nurse Linda Lee through his wit and creativity. Yet, their connection must remain on hold as Cole returns home and begins to achieve success with a string of popular shows. As he traverses the world, taking his work across the Atlantic, their love blossoms into marriage. However, even amidst the glitz and glamour of fame, marital troubles arise and are complicated by heart-wrenching news regarding a cherished family member. Through it all, Cole navigates personal growth and self-discovery while remaining true to his passion for songwriting.
