Murders in the Rue Morgue

In Paris during the early 1900s, theater owner Cesar Charron stages a captivating production of "Murders in the Rue Morgue" at his theater alongside his wife Madeleine. However, their lives are shaken by a series of gruesome acid murders targeting people closely tied to Cesar, leading Inspector Vidocq to suspect his former partner, Rene Marot, as the culprit. This theory seems all the more plausible considering Marot's past involvement in the murder of Madeleine's mother years prior, followed by a supposed suicide.
