Monkey Business

In this spirited comedy-drama, we follow the journey of three old friends - Joaquin, Brujo, and Luismi - who reunite after a long hiatus of twenty years. While Brujo and Luismi have not evolved much, still struggling to find their footing in life, Joaquin proudly claims to have made his mark as a successful businessman. However, he's abruptly hit by reality when he receives news that his mother's house is being repossessed due to an outstanding loan.Desperate for a solution and driven by his need to save the family home, Joaquin turns to his long-time pals for help. Unfortunately, their ingenious yet chaotic schemes to make quick cash only seem to intensify Joaquin's misfortunes. With laughter and heartache intertwining throughout, this movie explores themes of friendship, loyalty, and the lengths people go when faced with adversity.
