In the not-too-distant future, we meet Lera Arabova, a 15-year-old girl residing in Vladivostok with her family. Her father has been an inhabitant of 'Mira,' an orbiting space station, for several years now and unfortunately has lost touch with his daughter, interacting only through phone calls. When a meteor shower strikes the city, Lera discovers that she is the only one who can save her loved ones from impending disaster. Her father, working at the space station, provides invaluable assistance through satellite surveillance systems and voice communication, guiding his daughter remotely as he watches her every step from high above the Earth. The film delves into themes of family bonds, perseverance, and the power of technology as it explores the relationship between Lera and her father across the vast expanse of space.
