Lubo

Lubo Moser is a member of the Jenisch community - a group of Roma people who embrace a nomadic lifestyle deeply rooted in tradition. However, when Mirana, an advocate for their way of life, is tragically killed, Lubo becomes increasingly suspicious of the forces at play. The Swiss government has classified nomadism as a social ill and, through Pro Juventute - a state-run humanitarian organization - has begun to remove Jenisch children from their families in order to "rehabilitate" them into settled society. With each passing day, Lubo's resolve strengthens, leading him to reinvent himself as a determined avenger of his community and family. The journey he embarks upon challenges our perception of justice, blurring the lines between good and evil, as the stakes grow higher with every step. Through Lubo's unrelenting pursuit of truth and vengeance, the film invites us to examine the complexities of cultural preservation and the cost of assimilation.
