Darius, a critically acclaimed playwright, struggles with his alcohol addiction following the success of his debut masterpiece. After seeking professional help and getting sober, he returns home to find out that his producer has already secured the leading actress, booked the theater, and announced the premiere date without any input from him on the script. Struggling with a writer's block and an impending deadline, Darius' life takes a dark turn when he accidentally kills his neighbor's cat.
