Lady Football

The story follows Cotechiño, a talented football player who joins Napoli as their new centre-forward. His life takes an unexpected turn when he becomes increasingly engulfed by the absence of his fiancée, experiencing jealousy that borders on obsession. In an attempt to monitor her, he hires a plumber who bears a striking resemblance to him, hoping this would provide some peace of mind. However, Cotechiño's well-laid plans are disrupted when he himself gets kidnapped, thrusting him into unforeseen challenges both on and off the football field. The film explores themes of trust, obsession, and the impact of personal life on professional performance, as Cotechiño grapples with these adversities to ultimately discover resilience and self-discovery.
