In the Courtyard

Antoine, a musician in his forties, makes a sudden decision to abandon his career, leaving him lost and aimless. He eventually finds employment as a janitor at an old building on the east side of Paris. The building's resident, Mathilde, is a retired woman with a generous spirit, dividing her time between her community projects and condominium life. One night, she discovers a disconcerting crack in her living room wall, which triggers mounting anxiety and eventually panic. As the situation worsens, Antoine cautiously befriends Mathilde to prevent her from spiraling into madness. Their unlikely friendship blossoms into an amusing yet supportive partnership, providing solace during this tumultuous period.
