In Her Shoes

The film follows the story of Maggie, a carefree party girl who relies on the generosity of her father to live without responsibility. When she is suddenly kicked out by him and his wife, her sister Rose – a hardworking lawyer in Philadelphia – reluctantly agrees to take her in. However, Maggie's habitual disruptions start affecting not only her own life but also threaten to undermine her sister's carefully constructed one, leading Rose to ultimately turn her away as well. Just when the sisters seem to have hit rock bottom, they unexpectedly discover a grandmother who they never knew existed. This revelation forces Maggie and Rose to confront their complicated past and reevaluate their relationships with each other and their family, navigating through a tangled web of truths and reconciliation.
