High Road

High Road is an improvised comedy film directed by Matt Walsh, co-founder of Upright Citizens Brigade. The story revolves around Glenn "Fitz" Fitzgerald, a young man whose priorities are torn between his disbanded band, his girlfriend Monica, and selling drugs. With no other options, Fitz converts his garage into a makeshift drug distribution center and befriends the local teenager Jimmy.As Fitz's former bandmates enjoy newfound fame without him and one of his deals goes awry, he decides to escape with Jimmy on an impromptu road trip. Their journey is filled with unexpected challenges, including high-speed car chases, gunfire, injuries, surly taxi drivers, and a suspiciously curious doctor. In the midst of this chaos, Fitz must navigate their way through obstacles while unaware of Monica's secret waiting for him back home. High Road presents a hilarious look at friendship, loyalty, and self-discovery against the backdrop of a chaotic road trip adventure.
