Hermanoteu In the Land of Godah

"Hermanotheus and the Land of Godah" is a comedic retelling of the biblical story of Moses, set in ancient times and filled with wit and satire. Our protagonist, Hermanotheus, played by Ricardo Pipo, is a typical Hebrew of the year zero, who receives a divine mission to lead his people to a land promised by Godah. As he journeys through an immense desert, he encounters various characters like Cleopatra and the son of the Almighty, all portrayed by different actors. Adriana Nunes, Adriano Siri, Jovane Nunes, Victor Leal, and Welder Rodrigues take on these roles with skillful satire. The disembodied voice of God, providing guidance along the way, is brilliantly voiced by Chico Anysio. This comedic journey through biblical times weaves together elements from the Bible while adding numerous modern-day quotes, creating a unique connection between past and present.
