Heaven’s Gate

In the thriving Jackson County, Wyoming, James Averill, an accomplished Harvard graduate, serves as its sheriff amidst a simmering conflict between impoverished immigrants and affluent cattle farmers. The latter group, backed by influential ranch owners, resort to employing mercenaries such as Nathan Champion in their battle against the struggling newcomers. Averill and Champion find themselves competing for the affection of Ella Watson, a local madam who runs a well-known establishment. As tensions between the two sides reach boiling point, both men begin to reflect on their actions and loyalties, questioning whether they are truly serving justice in this complex struggle.
