Donald, an overconfident uncle, decides to lead his nephews on a nature hike through the woods. Despite his enthusiasm, he lacks the knowledge and skills necessary for such an endeavor, creating numerous humorous situations along the way that amuse his eager young companions. In an attempt to earn sympathy from his nephews, Donald coats himself in catsup and pretends to be injured. Eager to help their uncle, the boys wrap him up with bandages, rendering him practically blind and unable to avoid a sticky encounter - rolling into a pot of honey. As if that wasn't enough, the now extremely attractive smell of honey catches the attention of a curious bear, leading to even more hilarious misadventures in the great outdoors.
