Good Riddance

In a secluded town nestled within the Quebec Laurentian Mountains, we find Michelle leading a life of both struggle and resilience. Sharing her home with her developmentally-challenged brother Guy and her teenage daughter Manon, their existence revolves around managing a small firewood business and taking on various odd jobs to make ends meet. Michelle's life becomes an intricate web of relationships, as she grapples with love triangles involving the local police chief Maurice, and Gaetan, a family friend who also holds feelings for her.Amidst this complicated tapestry, Manon, a young girl brimming with precocious intelligence but struggling with school, finds herself embroiled in her own emotional turmoil.
