Fortitude

In search of solace from Venezuela's tumultuous reality and his own alcohol addiction, Roque ventures deep into the Amazon jungle to rehabilitate a cabin he once lovingly built during more carefree times. As he battles withdrawal symptoms and hallucinations, he becomes entangled with old acquaintances who have fallen prey to the lure of an illicit gold mine, controlled by ruthless Colombian guerrillas. This perilous environment pushes Roque into a self-destructive spiral as violence becomes integral to his daily routine. To escape this downward trajectory and embrace redemption, Roque must summon the strength to break free from his past and forge a new path forward amidst the heart of the jungle.
