James, a gifted pianist, has endured the heartache of gay conversion therapy, seeking acceptance from his conservative family. Returning home to his remote countryside farm and his emotionally distant father Richard, James is now expected to assume responsibility for their livelihood. Despite his passion for music, James submits to his father's expectations as a way to mend bridges, but when he unexpectedly crosses paths with an old flame, Charlie, the pressure intensifies.
