Dr. Jenny Isaksson, a seasoned psychiatrist, finds herself taking up a temporary position at a mental health institution. With minimal responsibilities on her plate and her family away, she moves in with her grandparents, expecting some leisure time. However, as the days pass, Jenny starts to confront unsettling recollections from her childhood, encounters eerie apparitions, and even narrowly avoids a harrowing assault. All these events gradually push this previously stable woman towards the brink of insanity, challenging her professional expertise and personal resilience in the process. The film delves into themes of mental health, family dynamics, and the blurred lines between reality and perception as it follows Jenny's journey to regain control over her life and sanity.
