Everybody Wants to Be Italian

In the bustling streets of north Boston, Jake Bianski manages a fish market frequented by fellow Italians. He harbors lingering feelings for Isabella, his ex-girlfriend who is now happily married with three children and has no interest in rekindling their past. Despite this reality, Jake continues to tell everyone they are still together. When he meets Marisa, a veterinarian set up by his employees at an Italian singles club, things appear promising until he discloses the nonexistent status of his relationship with Isabella. Unfazed, Marisa proposes a friendship instead, sparking a journey that challenges Jake to reassess the value of reality over fantasy as he navigates this newfound connection with Marisa, who also happens to be non-Italian.
