Arturo Bolaño, a middle-of-the-road insurance salesman, frequently finds solace in the allure of women and alcohol while dreaming about an easier life. His aspirations seemingly come to fruition when he meets Rebeca Solis, the captivating wife of his hotel's owner. Eager to escape her own turbulent marriage, Rebeca enlists Arturo's help to eliminate her husband from the picture.
