Coolie No. 1

In this comedic tale, Jai Kishen, a renowned matchmaker, decides to teach Rosario, a wealthy businessman with an elitist attitude, a lesson by arranging his daughter's marriage to Raju, a coolie who poses as a millionaire. Unbeknownst to them, their deception is eventually exposed. In order to cover up the lie, Raju invents an elaborate story about having a filthy rich twin brother. This sets off a chain of events, as one lie leads to another, and the situation spirals out of control, culminating in a series of hilarious misunderstandings and mishaps. Through it all, the characters' attempts to correct their mistakes only serve to create further chaos, providing endless entertainment for audiences throughout the film.
