Brotherhood of Tears

Gabriel Chevalier, a 45-year-old former policeman, has been struggling with unemployment, loneliness, and depression since leaving the force. With little connection to his only teenage child, Juliette, Gabriel leads an isolated life, drifting through each day without purpose. His world takes an unexpected turn when he stumbles upon a mysterious job offer that promises significant financial reward for a simple task: delivering a briefcase to a specified location without ever opening it. As he embarks on this seemingly straightforward mission, Gabriel is drawn into a series of surreal encounters with an array of eccentric characters in unusual locations. Unbeknownst to him, his innate cop instincts begin to reawaken, as curiosity and suspicion gnaw at the edges of this peculiar arrangement. As he continues on this new path, Gabriel starts to question not only the motives behind his assignments but also his own capacity to break free from the shadows of his past and forge a new, meaningful existence in his present circumstances.
