Following the completion of a lengthy sentence in juvenile detention, Jack Burridge struggles to rebuild his life as a deliveryman and starts dating his coworker Michelle. One day, during his job duties, Jack encounters a distressed young girl and heroically reunites her with her relieved family. This selfless act earns him local celebrity status in his community. However, Jack's past as a convicted child killer is soon uncovered by a nosy newspaper reporter, throwing his life into disarray as he faces the understandable anger and fear of the people he had hoped to win back. As public opinion turns against him, Jack must confront the consequences of his actions in order to protect Michelle and seek redemption for himself.
