Steve Malone, an Environmental Protection Agency inspector, is tasked with investigating a remote military base for any toxic material contamination. As a dedicated family man, he decides to bring his wife and teenage daughter along on the trip, hoping it will be an opportunity for quality bonding time. However, upon arrival, Marti, Steve's daughter, befriends Jean Platt, the general's daughter, and soon becomes increasingly uneasy as she notices unusual behavior among the base's residents.Intriguingly, Marti begins to suspect that a sinister force is at play, one that has infiltrated the very heart of this seemingly isolated community.
