BLAME!

In a futuristic cityscape where humanity has become reliant on the vast network of automated systems, an uncontrolled evolution leads to a labyrinthine metropolis that replicates itself infinitely in every direction. As control over these advanced technologies slips away, the remaining populace is hunted down by the Safeguard defense system. In one of the city's last enclaves called Electro-Fishers, a young girl named Zuru embarks on a desperate quest for food to save her village from starvation. Unintentionally alerting the Safeguard to their existence, she unwittingly seals her own fate and that of her companions as they are brutally annihilated. However, just as all seems lost, Killy the Wanderer arrives on the scene, seeking the elusive Net Terminal Genes - the key to restoring balance to a world spiralling out of control. Zuru's survival now lies in Killy's hands as they navigate through the treacherous cityscape, facing adversity at every turn in their quest for redemption and salvation.
