In a chilling future Earth, astronauts Pete Burke and Allan Virdon find themselves in an uncharted territory where intelligent apes reign supreme. After a crash landing that lands them into the grips of their simian captors, they're introduced to Galen, an empathetic chimpanzee who sees beyond their status as outsiders. Together, they hatch an audacious plan to escape and search for the city where they hope to uncover a computer containing vital information about their flight records.
